titian and Wicca

People think I am Titian, the supposed antichrist.  I am simply a solitary Wiccan that cares about the Earth.  I removed the "beavis and butthead" joke about the "grand bewitchment."  I don't know if Wiccans are involved in this kind of torture, or even Christians.  Maybe someone in the Federal government wants me to make a signed confession or something.

Wicca and respecting Jesus

Please, Wiccans and magical people - Please do respect Jesus, even if you do not agree with the religion of Christianity.  It is like good neighbor policy.  Remember, I am not Jesus or any diety.  I am just a human being like everyone else.

War Pigs and Wicca

This really gives Wiccans a bad rap because it slurs the word "Witch" which comes from a Celtic word meaning "Wise"

about Wicca

Wicca is an accepted, legal religion in almost all English speaking countries.  About 900 countries accept it and it is legal there.  It was first legalized in England.  It is not a church, and large groups should be called groves. (groves is a druid idea.)  Some think it is the "apostate church" from the book of revelation in the Christian Bible.  Wiccan covens and solitarys are autonomous.  We call individual covens "Circles" and Wicca as a whole is called the Craft.  By the way, "perfect love and perfect trust" is within a coven and not in the Craft as a whole.  It is not perfection either.  (We perfect ourselves over lifetimes.  By the way, those who are deemed "Warlocks" (traitors to a coven) can still be Solitary Wiccans.  Just mind the rule of three and harm none. 

Wicca vs Roman Militarism

Wicca is different from Roman militarism.  Wiccans are healers.  Some Pagans that are Asatru (worshippers of the Norse Gods) are warriors.  The Romans were into conquest and ultimately paid the price.  The Germans sacked Rome and basically trashed it.  Wicca is a reconstruction of the Druids, who beleived in a Triple Goddess (Maiden, Mother and Crone) and a young God and Old God.

Wicca and Christianity

I'm a Wiccan and I feel that we should have no ill will towards Christians and Jews.  The reason I called feminist Christianity "Xtianity" was to drive the point home that this heresy is wrong.  If you are a part of this, and you are a feminist, just become a Dianic Wiccan, and if you are alone and believe in this, just do the self dedication found in "Wicca - a Guide for the Solitary Practitioner".  Us pagans had much ill will towards Christians in Rome.  We need to learn from our mistakes there.  Blessed Be.  If you are angry at Christians, just listen to heavy metal rock music.

Self Dedication in Wicca

1. By the very definition of the word, you can’t initiate yourself, because to initiate requires more than one person. But what you CAN do is dedicate yourself to your path and to the gods you have chosen to follow. For many people, doing this as part of a formal ritual helps to cement their relationship with the Divine. Some people choose to wait until they have studied for a year and a day before having a formal self-dedication rite. It’s entirely up to you.
   
2. You may want to wait until the time of the new moon to perform this self-dedication, because it is a time of new beginnings. Bear in mind that self-dedication is a commitment you are making; it should not be done at random or without significant thought beforehand.
   This goal of this rite is to bring the dedicant closer to the Divine, as well as to declare your connection to your spiritual path.
   
3. You should perform this ritual skyclad, if at all possible. Find a place that is quiet, private, and free of distractions. Turn off your cell phone and send the kids out to play if you have to. You will need the following items:
   
   • Blessing oil
   • Half a teaspoon of salt
   • A white candle
   Begin by grounding yourself. Find your inner peace, and become good and relaxed. Shut out all the things from your mundane life that distract you -- forget for a while about paying the bills, your son’s baseball practice, and whether or not you fed the cat. Focus only on yourself, and the tranquility you’re entitled to.
   
4. When you’re ready to proceed, sprinkle the salt on the floor or ground, and stand on it.
   Light your white candle, and feel the warmth of the flame. Look into the glow of the fire and think about what goals you have for yourself on your spiritual journey. Think about your motivations for performing this self-dedication.
   
5. Stand before your altar, and say:
   I am a child of the Goddess and God [Lady and Lord] , and I ask them to bless me.
   Dip your finger into the blessing oil, and with eyes closed, anoint your forehead. Some people do this by tracing a pentagram on the skin with the oil. Say:
   May my mind be blessed, so that I can accept the wisdom of the gods. Anoint the eyelids (be careful here!) and say: May my eyes be blessed, so I can see my way clearly upon this path. Anoint the tip of your nose with the oil, and say: May my nose be blessed, so I can breathe in the essence of all that is Divine.
6. Anoint your lips, and say:
   May my lips be blessed, so I may always speak with honor and respect.
   Anoint your chest, and say:
   May my heart be blessed, so I may love and be loved.
   Anoint the tops of your hands, and say:
   May my hands be blessed, so that I may use them to heal and help others.
   Anoint your genital area, and say:
   May my womb be blessed, so that I may honor the creation of life.
   Anoint the soles of your feet, and say:
   May my feet be blessed, so that I may walk side by side with the Divine.
   
7. If you have specific deities you follow, pledge your loyalty to them now. Otherwise, you can use simply “God and Goddess”, or “Mother and Father”. Say:
   Tonight, I pledge my dedication to the God and Goddess. I will walk with them beside me, and ask them to guide me on this journey. I pledge to honor them, and ask that they allow me to grow closer to them. As I will, so it shall be.
   Take some time to meditate. Feel the afterglow of the ritual, and feel the energy of the gods around you. You have brought yourself to the attention of the Divine, so they will be keeping an eye on you. Accept the gift of their wisdom.
   

What You Need:

• A quiet place

Ceremonial Magic vs Wicca

There is a large difference between Wicca and Ceremonial magick.  Wicca honors a Goddess and a God, has the Wiccan law, "If it harm none, love, do as you will."  Real Wiccans DO NOT conjure demons. (Many CM's [Ceremonial Magicians] do)  Wiccans believe that whatever you send out returns to you threefold regardless.  CM's believe that a spell only comes back on you if the defense is greater than the power of the spell.  CM's in my opinion harbor much pride.

High magic is magic which has the ultimate purpose of bringing the magician closer with the divine. Historically, this is what ceremonial magicians claimed to be doing, in comparison with "low magic," which had mere practical purposes, was often considered to be rooted in superstition, and was sometimes equated with witchcraft.
Some modern witches do work purely practical magic. Many, however, work their magic in a very religious context and view their magic as drawing upon some connection with the divine."

CM's often feel they are better than Wiccans.

Christianity and Wicca

I have been a Catholic, a Wiccan and a Protestant Christian.  I chose Wicca because my faith is too weak to be a Christian.  I am not very religious of a Wiccan.  I perfer to be   solitary because I don't have much intuition of which coven is right for me.  I study on my own.

I feel Christians and Wiccans should and must be friends.

Solitary Wicca

Solitary Wiccans are just as legitimate Wiccans as coven Wiccans.

The Solitary movement started by Scott Cunningham numbers 5 million nationwide and 5,000 in other places.

There are places where a coven is impossible to find, so the person has no choice
solitary.

Some covens power trip, so people leave covens and work alone.

Coven Wiccans are no better than solitaries.

Neither heredity makes a witch nor does another witch, but the Goddess and God makes people into witches.

There are Wiccans called TechnoWiccans.

About Scott Cunningham's version of Wicca

In the beginning, there was the One.  The One created the Goddess and God.  In turn, the Goddess and God created the stars, galaxies and the planets.  This is the creation story that I follow.

Unity in Wicca

It doen't matter what trad of Wicca you are.  Whether you are Gardenerian, Alexendarian, Faerie or a non-denonominational Solitaire, you are still a Witch.  As long as you work to the harm of one and for the good of all, you are okay.  We all need to work together to protect the earth and each other.  We need unity.

My Testimony about Wicca

First of all, I do not like to badmouth people.  I committed a little gossip at an apartment complex, but that is beside my point.  I used to be a Wiccan.  I made mistakes in Wicca due to inexperience and LSD use.  I am by no mean badmouthing Wicca, though I did it to the Heathen Hammer on MySpace.  I insulted his gods, to be exact.  When I was a Wiccan, I nearly hated Christians, and I got back into it for a while, and slipped into my old ways.  I backslid.  I am just getting this closet of sin out in the open.  As far as intentional black magic, I learned how to send demonic spirits with banishing back to where they came from.  Once I sent a demon to attack my high pristess , using a match (no blade or circle involved) When I converted to Christianity about 6 years ago, I started to become a hater of Wiccans and Pagans.  I since learned the hard way.  Now I really care about all religions, and that is why I have been sticking up for muslims.  They, in my opinion, do have a right to practice their belief in this country and build mosques.
