How I learned to care for the Earth and others

This is how I started to care about this planet and people in general:  When I first joined Wicca, I was a "Wicccan fundamentalist" that hated Christians.  At first, as far as respecting women goes, I was raised by a strong-spirited mother, and a decent hard working father.  This was my foundation, and I was raised Roman Catholic.  I got to be a solitary Wiccan at 19 years of age.  It taught me that there is indeed a female principle to the universe.  By the way, as a teenager in high school, I had a good African American karate instructor (sensei) at a dojo in the San Fernando Valley called CPK.  It taught me good self control.  As far as caring for the planet goes, I saw episodes of a cartoon series called Captian Planet.  Then I was involved in a coven that I choose to keep anonymous.  I left the L.A. area about a year after I joined the coven I was in.  I later on had a kind Native American friend that converted me to the church (protestant).  I watched much of TBN, and saw end-times movies.  They scared the crap out of me.  My experiences with this Native American Christian from the Navajo Nation got me out of the mindset that all Christians were hypocrites (this individual was big-hearted and generous with her time, and even prayed for the rainforests to heal.)  I soon learned to care about Christians, but still had a disdain for ones that were real hypocrites. (Jesus often got in arguments with the hypocrite Pharisees of His).  I have still a disdain for Crowley students and black magicians of all kinds, as well as the people in the Craft community that call Christians "Xtian".  I got involved later on as a solitary Wiccan and do feel some churches and the coven I was in hurt me to a degree.  I have been to Rainbow gatherings, as well as to Grateful Dead shows in the past too.  I always joke about Alister Crowley getting ripped to shreds by demons he conjured backfiring on him. (someone was probably smoking a cigar or cigarette. (demons hate tobacco).

A shocking video has been released allegedly showing police officers tasering and beating a homeless man to death who they claim was resisting arrest. Video footage of 6 Fullerton, CA police officers tasering and beating a homeless man to death exposes a cover up that local officials refuse to answer questions about. Though the video is not clear, eye witnesses say the homeless man - Kelly Thomas, 37 - was unable to put up any resistance and was lying on the ground on his front when the attack took place on July 5. His screams and cries for his father can be heard amid the tasering noises.

Corporate news coverage of the event downplays the prospect of police brutality or foul play in the incident.

ABC video report on the eyewitness statements and recently a released video of the beating captured by a bystander, both attached to this page below, contradict the official story of the incident given by the police.

The LA Times report on the incident, however, echoes the official police story failing to report within the article itself the claims from eyewitnesses.

As shown in the ABC video below, witnesses report that the man was not resisting arrest. They tell ABC he was actually knocked unconscious while the police continued to beat him and scream at him to stop resisting.

But in over three weeks since the incident little has been done as the apparent police cover up has continued.

Local residents report that public officials have stonewalled the public and media who are trying to get an official statement on the story.

The district attorney has so far remained silent on the issue. Bystanders who witnessed the deadly beating claim they have not been contacted by the city for their testimony about the incident.

Welcome to the Jungle

The Jungle is a 1906 novel written by muckraking journalist Upton Sinclair.^[1] Sinclair wrote the novel to portray the life of the immigrant in the United States, but readers were more concerned with the large portion pertaining to the corruption of the American meatpacking industry during the early-20th century, and the book is now often interpreted and taught as only an exposure of the industry of meatpacking. This was not Sinclair's intention for the book though and not what he would have liked it to be famous for. The novel depicts in harsh tones poverty, absence of social programs, unpleasant living and working conditions, and hopelessness prevalent among the working class, which is contrasted with the deeply-rooted corruption on the part of those in power. Sinclair's observations of the state of turn-of-the-century labor were placed front and center for the American public to see, suggesting that something needed to be changed to get rid of American wage slavery.^[2] The novel was first published in serial form in 1905 in the socialist newspaper Appeal to Reason. It was based on undercover work done in 1904: Sinclair spent seven weeks gathering information while working incognito in the meatpacking plants of the Chicago stockyards at the behest of the magazine's publishers.^[3] He then started looking for a publisher who would be willing to print it in book form. After five rejections by publishers who found it too shocking for publication, he funded the first printing himself.^[3] It was published by Doubleday, Page & Company on February 28, 1906 and has been in print ever since.

The women that say he sexual assaulted them actually hung out with him, threw a party and gave money to him after the alleged incident. Wikkileaks told the truth about the various shenatigans of the federal government.  The US governent had no business arresting the webmaster of Wikkileaks and shuting it down.  In my opinion, he is a political prisoner and I feel that Amnesty Int'l should get involved.  It shows that our freedoms are being slowly taken away from us on a regular basis, due to corporate bribes to the elected officials.  Corruption is running rampant in local, state and possibly federal government.  There are even corrupt local officials making back-room deals with organizations like the Portland Business Alliance.  By the way, the President has the power to shut down the Internet with a kill switch.  We probably could call the President "Barack Herbert Hoover Obama" (yep, here comes the Hoovervilles again - those shacks are almost in style,)   This would  lead to telecoms losing money.  In the event of this, dissenters and activists can use land lines for their phones (the Egyptian gov't cut off cell phone services too), dial-up modems and BBS's (Bulletian Board Systems) again.

The authority granted to the government in the bill, known as the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act (PCNAA), has been likened to an Internet "kill switch."
The bill would require that private companies--such as "broadband providers, search engines, or software firms," CNET explains--"immediately comply with any emergency measure or action" put in place by the Department of Homeland Security, or else face fines.
It would also see the creation of a new agency within the Department of Homeland Security, the National Center for Cybersecurity and Communications (NCCC). Any private company reliant on "the Internet, the telephone system, or any other component of the U.S. 'information infrastructure'" would be "subject to command" by the NCCC, and some would be required to engage in "information sharing" with the agency, says CBS4.
Numerous groups, such as TechAmerica, have criticized the bill, warning of the "potential for absolute power" and expressing reservations about the "unintended consequences that would result from the legislation's regulatory approach."
Liberman recently defended the PCNAA, arguing that it was imperative the president had the ability to "say to an electric company or to say to Verizon, in the national interest, 'There's an attack about to come, and I hereby order you to put a patch on this, or put your network down on this part, or stop accepting any incoming from country A.'"

All magic comes back to you threefold.  It does, whether good or evil (good or bane).  It is very unethical to harm anyone magically.  Even a love spell that is cast to manipulate a man or woman to fall in love with the caster causes problems in the relationship.  A demonic conjuration especially comes back threefold.  There is really no harm in kidding about "things that go bump in the night".  When I talk about that, I mean like vampires, ghosts, Frankenstien's monster, the "Wolf man", etc.  That is just Halloween humor.  Bad things a person does (or good things for that matter) simply catch up with you.  You know, what goes around comes around.
