prejudice and slavery

prejudice against someone regardless of race, creed, or sex is wrong.  In the Star Wars saga, Wookies were used as slaves in the Empire.  Black people were used as slaves in the American South.  Jews were used as slaves in Egypt, Rome and Nazi Germany and Hitler was known to use lamp shades made from exterminated Jews.  Even now, Mexicans, Salvadorans, and Hondurans, as well as people in China get paid slave wages.  The Goddess Diana, Aradia's mother said, "ye shall be free from slavery" at the worst of the burning times.

American Slavery

African Americans, or Negro, or even the offensive, slang word that was used in the 1800's slave states and the 1950's and up to 1960's South, "nigger".  Now, I really do not like this word.  I like African American better than even "blacks" or "negro".   It is just feels more dignified to me.  There were slave drivers called breakers who just beat the African Slaves into submission.  Fredrick Douglas had to endure a slave breaker named Covey.
