When I call the quarters (Watchtowers) in a circle, I do not order them to show up. They do not like to be ordered around. I rather invite them to come, and when I do it that way, they are glad to join me in a ritual. In the past, out of ignorance, I did order them to show up at solitary rituals. I do not do that anymore. It is better to invite them rather than order them to show up. No being likes to be ordered around. I know that especially Brittish Trads order the quarters to show up in their rituals.
